Jugh Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 (edited) Hi, if you have overwritten the file, you may need to apply a third-party tool, I think you can try the *snip* tool, it supports deep scan, maybe it can help you recover overwritten data. You can just have a try, hope can help you. Edited October 14, 2019 by Jos Earthshine 1

alienclone Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 since the post has already been raised and not locked yet, i'll just say for anyone interested, i keep ALL documents in the cloud (Gdrive, OneDrive, Dropbox) so they are always backed up in real time with MULTIPLE versions. so when i get stupid and decide to completely re-write a script that was working perfectly only to biff it all up and didnt make a copy first, i am not completely f'd like this OP was. Musashi Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 If you can't or don't want to back up to the cloud, you should at least activate the following : SciTE Config -> Set the number of backup files you wish to keep while editing your script alienclone 1 "In the beginning the Universe was created.
