Hi, I'm new to autoit and I need help sending joystick inputs like from an xbox controller. I need to send them alongside of an actual controller so I can't use a virtual controller. Is there native support in autoit or do I need another program as well?

I am totally lost what you are after....  sending joystick inputs, what does that mean? Would think you receive inputs and send outputs..no?

Anyway: What is this all for and what are you trying to accomplish?

I did some research and this is the only forum that I could find with actual coding for joystick inputs. I hope it helps!

The link will be listed below.

Sorry if my wording was a bit backwards, I am trying to send joystick outputs from my xbox controller like a regular macro.

I'll take a look through this, at first glance this may help.

AndrewF32,

How about answering Jos questions before we go any further?

What is this all for and what are you trying to accomplish?

I want to send controller outputs like a regular macro for a keyboard. Ex: press "x" on keyboard and controller sends the "b" key press.

AndrewF32,

You mean you want simulate the controller "b" command when you press the "x" key on a keyboard? Are you trying to emulate a controller using a keyboard?

Yes. Is that possible? Also, it has to be able to do that at the same time as I use the actual controller.

AndrewF32,

And I suppose this is so two people can play games without having to buy another controller?

M23

No, the left trigger is broken on my controller which means I can't zoom out on one of the games I play without switching my control setup.
