Cristian3095 Posted December 23, 2015 Posted December 23, 2015 How can i make MouseMove function run with linear speed? I want that cursor speed is the same for the entire route. How can I do that?
Moderators Melba23 Posted December 23, 2015 Moderators Posted December 23, 2015 Cristian3095,Welcome to the AutoIt forums. When I test, it certainly looks as if MouseMove runs along a diagonal and then finishes its path along the remaining major axis. Why is this such a problem for you? Given that the mouse can only move in integer amounts you will never get an entirely smooth path unless the x/y distances are by chance identical, so even were you to manually determine the intermediate coordinates you are still likely to see a slightly irregular speed as not all moves would be equal.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
Cristian3095 Posted December 23, 2015 Author Posted December 23, 2015 What I mean is that cursor starts slowly, than accelerates to about half of the path before slowing again to the end of the path.
kylomas Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Post your code and we'll take a look.. Forum Rules Procedure for posting code "I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals." - Sir Winston Churchill
jaensterr Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I saw this also indeed, if you for example drawn points in mspaint with a mousedown & mouseclick & mouseup, you can see that the mouse accalarates in the begin allot faster then in the end.. Then you see in the end allot more dotted patrn. You could fix this by calculating the spaces between and make yourself allot of little mousemoves with speed zero.
