If there is text on the window that would make it "unique", it can be left blank in most cases.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

Whats the middle field for?

WinSetTrans("Win Name","This one",Ocapacity 0-255)

It helps define which window you are working with... If you had two notepad windows open and the titles were the same, you might be able to match only one of them using some unique text.

Try it - open two notepad windows and type HELP into one of them... look at each with the "AutoIt Window Info" tool. The word HELP should appear undetrr this part of the tool:

>>>>>>>>>>> Visible Window Text <<<<<<<<<<<

So you would write the line of code as:

WinSetTrans("Untitled - Notepad","HELP",144)

or

WinSetTrans("Untitled - Notepad","",144)

if you do not care which window gets set

ronsrules beat me to it - because I write too much and too slow :-)
