Debug AutoIt script using Scite Editor

Recommended Posts

Hello,

If you are using Scite4AutoIt3, then you just need to open it's Helpfile and on the Introduction page is 10 references to the word Debug.

If you look in the AutoIt Helpfile, it will tell you about using Au3Info to help you get information from Windows that appear. You may see in the Opt() page that a setting Opt("TrayIconDebug", 1) exists to tell you of which line that the script is currently at by hovering your mouse over the system tray icon.

With AutoIt and Scite4AutoIt3, you would already have the Debug tools to help you get an AutoIt script in good running order.
