Hi, @lordsocke we need more information to assist. What is the trigger you're looking for when you say "how long my program needs"? Are you wanting to know when it is done installing, when it has performed a certain action, when it has closed? Or are  you looking for a straight 20 minute counter? The more information you can give the better equipped we are to help.

Ähm the program is performing an action where i´ve given a variable for the time in milliseconds. So I want a counter which takes the time in Milliseconds and is counting  down in seconds from the given Milliseconds to Zero to give the user the chance to see when the performing of my certain action is finished. So a kind of a messagebox where it say´s: "The program still needs xx:xx"

Thanks for your help

So you can use TimerInit() and TimerDiff() from the help file to translate the time into milliseconds and do your countdown. If you want to tie the timer to a specific window, look at _Timer_SetTimer in the help file.

AutoIt has "ProgressOn" - Creates a customizable progress bar window.

Why not use this ?
