Assign single row from 2D array to another array

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to do it in nicer way?

#Include <Array.au3>
local $array[0][4]
for $i=0 to 10
_ArrayAdd($array,Random(0,10,1) & "|" & Random(0,10,1)  & "|" & Random(0,10,1)  & "|" & Random(0,10,1) )
Next
_ArrayDisplay($array)
local $newarray[0][Ubound($array,$UBOUND_COLUMNS)]
;Now I would like to add all columns value from $array index 5 to $newarray, something like code quoted code below (which in fact, does not work):
;_ArrayAdd($newarray, $array[5])
;insted of this i made "not nice" solution:
$index = InputBox("Question", "Which row would you like to add to new array?", 5)
$fill = ""
for $i=0 to Ubound($array,$UBOUND_COLUMNS) - 1
    $fill &= $array[$index][$i] & "|"
Next
$fill = StringTrimRight($fill,1)
_ArrayAdd($newarray, $fill)
_ArrayDisplay($newarray)
;is there anything ready in Array.au3 UDF for this task?

Did you look before posting?

#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[0][4]
For $i = 0 To 10
    _ArrayAdd($aArray, Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1))
Next
_ArrayDisplay($aArray)

Local $aExtract = _ArrayExtract($aArray, 5, 5)

_ArrayDisplay($aExtract)

when I want to extract first element (index:0) from the source array it extract everything, am I doing something wrong?

#include <Array.au3>

Local $aArray[0][4]
For $i = 0 To 10
    _ArrayAdd($aArray, Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1) & "|" & Random(0, 10, 1))
Next
_ArrayDisplay($aArray)

Local $aExtract = _ArrayExtract($aArray, 0, 0)

_ArrayDisplay($aExtract)
