Play video for certain amount of time

Hi, guys i am new to these forums, i need someone who can provide me with ideas, code and general help on an automation project that i have been assigned to by my teachers.

I have to design a script that will play an online video, in a web browser for a certain amount of time eg- 10 seconds and then go to the next video. The latter part and the initial part of the program has already been written by me but i cant seem to figure out how to read for how long the video has already been playing, and pls note, hardcoding the timing wont work as the video buffers when it is been played and this sleep(10000) wont work... any help on this idea would be appreciated.
