GUIListViewEx - New Version 07/09/25

hello Melba,

quick question : if I am in editing mode (I have double-click on a item) ..

if I press Esc to quit the editing mode (no change to the item), .. sound weird but I do that a lot for copy/paste the item..

should i _GUIListViewEx_Close() the listview even if nothing have change ?

Resiak1811,

The only times you need to use the _GUIListViewEx_Close function is if the ListView has been deleted completely from the GUI, or if the content has been deleted and you are filling it again with different data. There is no need to _Close it after an aborted (or successful) Edit.

so that means, if I have a empty listview on start and populate on keystroke, I put this :

Local $list_Edit = _GUIListViewEx_Init($list, "", 0, 0xFF0000, False, 4 + 64 + 128 + 256 + 512)
    _GUIListViewEx_SetEditStatus($list_Edit, $EditStatus)

after the creation of the listview and in my function, let name the func Search() :

I put the _Close() like this :

_GUICtrlListView_DeleteAllItems($List)
