Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted May 25, 2016 Moderators Posted May 25, 2016 @rayane888 you would have to run two scripts: your main script and then a second that watches for that process to terminate. rayane888 Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 @JLogan3o13 You mean Vbs Script with My exe . idea to when the exe killed the Vbs Run the Exe .......in case the vbs is killed my exe run vbs ....but there more security for my exe becose some time the 2 script killed in the same time .. ??
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted May 25, 2016 Moderators Posted May 25, 2016 Since you're posting in an AutoIt forum (and not the VBScript subforum) I meant you would use two AutoIt scripts, no vbscript. You compile one to do the work you want it to do (e.g. ScriptWork.exe). You then compile another script (e.g. ScriptWatch.exe) to send up a MsgBox if the first closes. Something like this: #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> If ProcessExists("WorkScript.exe") Then _watchMe() Func _watchMe() While 1 If ProcessClose("WorkScript.exe") Then MsgBox($MB_OK, "WorkScript", "Hey, you closed me") WEnd EndFunc "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. rayane888 Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 #include <MsgBoxConstants.au3> If ProcessExists("WorkScript.exe") Then _watchMe() Func _watchMe() While 1 If not ProcessExists ("WorkScript.exe") Then ShellExecute("WorkScript.exe") WEnd EndFunc this small edit
BrewManNH Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) Even easier While 1 RunWait("WorkScript.exe") WEnd This way, you start the program from the first one, when it gets closed it immediately restarts it. You can use FileInstall to "package" your WorkScript.exe inside the watcher script's exe file.
