unable to execute while compiled

4 posts in this topic

hello

i am able to run this successfully while uncompiled but not while compiled (i get a -1 error).  any workaround to get this working while compiled?  i would like to filemove in this manner so the gui doesnt get tied up with large files

$source_file = "C:\Users\Smith\Desktop\New folder1\20151116_101449_001 - Copy.mp4"
$target_dir = "C:\Users\Smith\Desktop\dest"

$command = ' /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "Exit(FileMove(''' & $source_file & ''', ''' & $target_dir & '''))"'

$action_process = RunWait(@AutoItExe & $command)

consolewrite($action_process & @crlf)

any help is greatly appreciated!!

gcue,

I see no #pragma compile(AutoItExecuteAllowed, True) directive in that snippet, so it does not surprise me at all that it does not work when compiled.

gcue,

No problem. But I would point out that to use the built-in interpreter you have needed that directive in compiled scripts since v3.3.10.0 - which was released on 23 December 2013.....
