how game protection is able to catch autoit and ban the bot

Hi there!


One question is currently bugging me.

How guard systems are able to recognize that the player is using autoit and ban it? I mean if we do not invoke multiple actions at the same time it should not recognize whether it's a user or a bot.


The only explanation I came up with is that it might register system events and if a request of "person clicked F1" sent to server but OS did not register that event -> it catches autoIt script.


Am I right? Could anybody explain?
