Help with StringRegExp

4 posts in this topic

With "abc de", how to match "de" with case-insensitivity?

I test with

StringRegExp ("abc de", "(?i:aBc )", 3)

but it not works :mad::mad::mad:

Do you have any other criterion for matching or is it only the presence of "de" in the string which matters?

In the latter case, StringInStr will do. If you insist on a RE, then

StringRegExp("abc de", "(?i)de")

will return 1 if a match is found, else 0.

i read as wanting to return everything except a case insensitive match..

msgbox(0, '' , StringRegExp ("abc de", "(?i:aBc)(.*)", 3)[0]))
