joseLB 1 Report post Posted August 6, 2016 (edited) I opened a .exe (plain compilation, with no au3stripper), with notepad. I supposed that I could search for my variables names and/or for string constants. I was unsucessful (hopefully). My question: it´s simple to get the source code back from a .exe, for someone with not the "best" intentions, ? I´m asking as I would like to have a code a bit more protected, not something drastic, but somewhat difficult to get source from .exe. IF it´s simple to get the source back, any other sugestion? Jos 1,291 Report post Posted August 6, 2016 You will not find the source just like that but the decompilation topic was discussed enough around here so we have a rule against it since a while.
