                                                                                                                                              |   2     |  de    | lal      | .......

after  _ArrayTransponse  i  have  the  array  displayed in this  mode : [0]  | col 0   |

                                                                                                                                    [1]  |   2       |

                                                                                                                                    [2]  |  de      |

                                                                                                                                     ...   .......

the  question is  after  this  _Arraytransponse , the structore of array  is effectly changed  or  change only  for   function _arraydisplay ???

faustf,

Once transposed by the _ArrayTranspose function, the array is completely rewritten and has new dimensions (look at the dimensions shown at the bottom left of the display - you see that they are in red and have an explanatory tooltip when only transposed by _ArrayDisplay):

#include <Array.au3>

Global $aArray[] = [2, "de", "lal"]

; Display original array
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "Original", Default, 8)

; Display original array transposed
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "Transposed Display", Default, 1 + 8)

; Now actually transpose the array
_ArrayTranspose($aArray)

; Now it has different dimensions and has bene rewritten
_ArrayDisplay($aArray, "Transposed Array", Default, 8)
