autoit uses outdated script

3 posts in this topic

Hello, i'm new to autoit, so my question is probably due to misunderstanding

I have edited a script and set some row in comment, and closed the script.

When I run the script, it runs the rows that are now in comments, such as if it was running a cached version of the script.

is it a known behaviour ? how to purge this cache ?

No it is not known behavior. Please post the code so we can see what you're seeing.

Did you save the script in the Program Files (x86) directory?
If so, you really shouldn't be doing that and probably need to check for a version of that file in:

C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\
