Write record to databse ODB (Open Office Base)

Hi to all,

you can write in a ODB database (open office base)?

I've never done anything like this.
I need reallizzare for me to write a small program in a database.
The program I need to have a daily report of its activities.

The database consists of a table with fields:
-sequential number
-name of who made the activity
-ticket number
-category
-start date time
-end date time
