algiuxas Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 (edited) Hello, I'm having some problems with SciTe, when I copy and paste, select text, or etc., there's sometimes text blinking(not the cursor, but the whole text!), or black lines, they blink(like cursor do). When I reinstalled AutoIt all SciTe settings were left, and when I open up scite editor, I had same problem. (Btw., I use theme) How to fully uninstall AutoIT and SciTE, and install it again without leaving any settings or etc.? Solved: System restore helped me... Edited January 22, 2017 by algiuxas After switching years ago to Linux, sadly I don't use AutoIt anymore.
Starf0x Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 You might think about this program ISN AutoIT Studio I used Scite for years, but it takes a small amount of getting used to it (Read the helpfile) and I'll never go back to Scite ever again. Cheers, Starf0x

How do I save *.au3 file, WITHOUT project.isn, and other things, not in project folder, but like in desktop? It's really slower than SciTE... Any way to make it faster? I can't believe it's made using AutoIT... Edited January 23, 2017 by algiuxas After switching years ago to Linux, sadly I don't use AutoIt anymore.
Starf0x Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 The isn file is the project file. Just create a new project and the name of the project will be the au3 file. Check if your antivirus is not ffing it up, Yes it needs to load more and might be a bit slower, a new project takes here about 5 secs to load. You might also have a look in the Template folder of isn, that is what I use when I create a new project every time. Of course adapted to my needs Have fun, Starf0x
algiuxas Posted April 3, 2017 Author Posted April 3, 2017 (edited) Hello everybody, I know it's old post now, but I figured out it myself... There was a problem with my nvidia drivers, so I just opened Nvidia control panel and selected that SciTe wouldn't run on NVidia, but it would run on Intel HD Graphics I hope that somebody that has same problems this will help. Problem solved. Edited April 3, 2017 by algiuxas After switching years ago to Linux, sadly I don't use AutoIt anymore.
