Hello,

I created a script to drag and drop file/folder from explorer to my gui.

Is it possible to know information (file/ folder name, type) about item when the mouse is over my gui and before i drop the item.

I want to activate options according to the case.

What is the issue with dropping it onto your gui and then get the needed information to do what you want to do? Why do you need this information beforehand?

I would like to propose actions depends on file type or others options.

A stupid exemple should be: when dragging word file, i should activate an icon to open word, an other for zipping the file, an other for converting to pdf.

For a zip file, an icon to unzip, an other to zip it again, an other to add password

i would like to avoid asking questions : "would you like to ..."

I don't know if i'm clear.
