Loading an Autoit script into memory

Recommended Posts

I use Filemaker Pro to build database applications.  Since Filemaker  doesn't have the native capacity to change it's parent application window size, I use a compiled Autoit script to do that.

I configure Filemaker to call the Autoit script to change the application window size whenever I switch from a layout which is sized differently from the previous one.

The problem is that after switching to another layout, there is a delay while the Autoit script loads and executes its resizing function, after which it closes again.

I'd like to know if there is a way to load the script into memory permanently (until it gets closed) so that it won't have to load up each time.

Regards and Thanks
