BrianF Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Greetings all, Looking to utilize Resources UDF created by Zedna on this thread a long time ago Using the following example from post one of that thread: #AutoIt3Wrapper_Res_File_Add=heart.jpeg, rt_rcdata, TEST_JPG_1 #include "resources.au3" Global $gui, $pic1 $gui = GUICreate("Data from resources simple example 1",400,266) $pic1 = GUICtrlCreatePic("",0,0,400,266) _ResourceSetImageToCtrl($pic1, "TEST_JPG_1") ; set JPG image to picture control from resource GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) While 1 If GUIGetMsg() = -3 Then Exit WEnd I'm getting this on the _ResourceSetImageToCtrl line (hitting F7 to compile then launching the EXE). Line 9578 (File "D:\Libraries\Documents\Source\AutoIt\resourcetest.exe"): Error: Subscript used on non-accessible variable. If I comment that line out, it compiles and launches without error obviously without the image. The environment is Windows 10 if that matters. Am I missing something? Thoughts?
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 13, 2017 Moderators Posted March 13, 2017 BrianF, Welcome to the AutoIt forums. Zedna's original version of the UDF has not been updated for some time - I suggest giving guinness' updated version a try and see if the problem persists.
