Why not take a little longer and read the array elements individually? Subz Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 You would need to define each line as numbers for example: Local $aNumber = StringSplit(IniRead("My.ini", "String", "Number", ""), ".", 2) MsgBox(48, "Original Var Type", "Original Var Type for " & $aNumber[0] & " = " & VarGetType($aNumber[0]) & @CRLF & _ "Original Var Type for " & $aNumber[1] & " = " & VarGetType($aNumber[1]) & @CRLF) MsgBox(48, "Defined Var Type", "Defined Var Type for " & Number($aNumber[0]) & " = " & VarGetType(Number($aNumber[0])) & @CRLF & _ "Defined Var Type for " & Number($aNumber[1]) & " = " & VarGetType(Number($aNumber[1])) & @CRLF)
