kevinfar
If I have an icon, as the one attached to this post, is there a way for autoit to compare this image with what is on screen and recognize its position on said screen? Thanks
Bert
is there any reason to try to hook into the control and not look for an image? Image searching is the WORST way to automate. Whats the name of the application you wish to automate? There may be a coded solution already and no need to recreate the wheel. kevinfar
@Bert Not sure what you mean with this: 5 hours ago, Bert said: is there any reason to try to hook into the control and not look for an image? I am trying to look for the image on screen. The application is a chrome plugin which allows the user to download youtube videos directly from the youtube play page. Bert
ummm...that "may" be a problem. If I remember right the mods do not allow for such a thing to be discussed here. It has to do with licensing by google and such. Let us check with a mod and get their opinion. I know of a good solution for you but I want to make sure I'm in bounds.
