Delete users from the local admin group

Did you try these manually yourself from the commandline:?

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c net localgroup Administrators "PDS_PlantDesign_Desktop_Admin" /delete 
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /c net localgroup Administrators "DOMAIN\PDS_PlantDesign_Desktop_Admin" /delete

no this does not work.  

for some reason I cannot get any command to work to remove this group.

I've tried many syntax and still will not remove this one group.

You did run the CMD prompt as Administrator ..right? 
Well, AutoIt3 can't yet do wonders by making things work that won't work manually. Guess you need to get that sorted first.
