my autoit is not working when I start the application

Im new here I got this problem when I created a script that help me type fast my answer.
I created a simple script that input "lefttop, centertop, righttop,left,center,right,leftbottom,centerbottom or rightbottom" base on my input in numberkeys.

While the application is active I have to see and tell which side is the image be found using full name and enter. 
but autoit doesnt work when I start running the application.
