Scheduled Task Just not running

Recommended Posts

LCote

I have compiled a script written in Auto IT which will run a function in my ERP system.  When I run the script in AutoIT it runs.  I compiled the script and ran it.  It runs.  I wrote a powershell which will start the process.  If I manually run that, it runs.

It is one line at the moment:

ShellExecute("G:\Infor\Visual\Visual MFG\VMTRVRPT.EXE","-u <user> -p <password> -d <databasename>")

As soon as I try to schedule the task (even just two minutes in the future and leave myself logged in and watching), it fails....although the scheduled task shows that it has completed.    I have been all over these forums trying everything to get this to run.    What can be wrong?

What credentials are you using for the scheduled task?

I am using the same credentials that I am logged in with.  I checked that carefully!

And you have the task in interactive mode, and you have confirmed after the task runs that the process is not running (not just that you do not see the window)?
