Creating two RunWait "threads" simultaneously?

Recommended Posts

I'm updating my AutoIT Primera disc duplicator library to handle burning two discs at once. The CD/DVD/Blu-ray burning software is launched by a RunWait command. The errorlevel reported back from the program is used to determine if the burn was successful or not. Therefore, I can't use a Run instead of a RunWait.

Is there a way to kick off multiple RunWait commands and keep track of their return values in AutoIT?

AutoIt does not support multi-threading, so not in a single script, no. You would have to write one script for each and then a third (as RunWait is blocking) to monitor progress.
