LoWang
Hello I am working with a lot of excel workbooks and I have a problem orienting in it. My windows 10 taskbar is not big enough so I don't see the window titles or I see them just partially. I have an idea to make myself a little GUI window assistant tool which would just list all Excel windows in ListBox and allowed me to switch between them so I don't need to search through the taskbar. The problem is that WinList shows only two windows - Excel and Excel (restricted mode). It does not show the actual workbooks. If I use wingettitle or wingetstate I can get properties of one workbook, but there is a weird undefined window state value 7. But when I did wingetstate of Total Commander it also has state 7. Probably something normal for windows 10? So how do I list all my Excel workbooks? Ideas please.
Earthshine
I think this from the help file should do it https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/libfunctions/_Excel_SheetList.htm no. That will just give you the sheets in the workbook what you need to do is find the number of workbooks open Edited May 22, 2018 by Earthshine My resources are limited.
