Hi, I am trying to select all in a uneditable text field in a 3rd party program. It does not allow the field to be selected by control+a is there another way i can select all through autoit?

Depending on how the text is represented you might have problems accessing it.(non- win32 controls)

You could use the au3tool before writing anything to see if that returns your text. If the au3tool works your script will work to.

the au3tool comes with autoit or scite.
