seandisanti Posted December 27, 2005 Share Posted December 27, 2005 (edited) haha, i like it. but it doesn't figure speed right for diagonals. one sec, i'm gonna test a re-write just 'cause i think this is neat....i think your formulas are off... maybe...if i remember right, the length of a line can be determined with...sqrt((y2-y1)(y2-y1)+(x2-x1)(x2-x1))and that's just based off of a squared + b squared = c squared...so you're figuring the squared lenths of the base and height of the triangle with the (y2-y1)(y2-y1)+(x2-x1)(x2-x1) then just take the squareroot of that number for the length of the hypotenuse (spelling?)
