Help with saving text from inputbox to txt file

Recommended Posts

Good afternoon, this is my test script but I got stuck:

I can't get to save the text from the inputbox to the txt file to line 1.
When I dont use a variable like this:

    _FileWriteToLine($FileOpen, 1, "This will be saved", True)

it will save but that's not what I want, please help with me to fix this issue

#include <GUIConstants.au3>
#include <FileConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <File.au3>
#include <WinAPIFiles.au3>

$FileOpen = "C:\test.txt"
Local $sFileRead = FileReadLine ($FileOpen, 1)
$Input = GUICtrlCreateInput($sFileRead, 8, 8, 185, 21)

$MainGUI = GUICreate("test", 902, 495, -1, -1)
$Input = GUICtrlCreateInput($sFileRead, 8, 8, 185, 21)
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 8, 65, 57, 25, 0)
$Button2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button2", 72, 65, 57, 25, 0)

$pic=GUICreate("", 200, 250, 0, 0,$WS_POPUP,BitOr($WS_EX_LAYERED,$WS_EX_MDICHILD,$WS_EX_TRANSPARENT),$MainGUI)

$readinput = GUICtrlRead($input)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW,$MainGUI)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW,$pic)

While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $msg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
   Case $Button1
    _FileWriteToLine($FileOpen, 1, $readinput, True)
 Exit
        Case $Button2

    EndSwitch
 WEnd

McDiesel,

Welcome to the AutoIt forums.

When you post code in future please use Code tags - see here how to do it.  Then you get a scrolling box and syntax colouring as you can see above now I have added the tags. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
