Cannot Control the "Choose File to Upload" Pop-Up Window - (Moved)

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

Currently, I am working on an AutoIT script that allows me to login to my FaceBook account, and upload a new  photo to my profile. Everything works well until my script opens the "Choose File to Upload"  Pop-Up Window. For some reason I cannot control the elements of the Pop-Up. I cannot write on the file browser box or press the Open Button. Some times, it works, and some times it does not work. I have already tried the following commands:

WinActivate ("Choose File to Upload")
Send ("C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample Pictures\Penguins.jpg")
Send ("{ENTER}")

also

ControlFocus ("Choose File to Upload", "", "Edit1")
ControlSetText ("Choose File to Upload", "", "Edit1", "C:\Users\Public\Pictures\Sample Pictures\Penguins.jpg")
ControlClick ("Choose File to Upload", "", "Button1")

FYI,

They both do the same thing . It doesn't work the first time I run the script, but the second time I run the script it works. If I run the script a third time it won't work.  Hopefully, you can advise.  I am currently using windows explorer as my web browser.

Thanks
