Global variable not updating

Recommended Posts

This is my code attached

What is happening is that when the pause function is called it does not use the correct value of $sRowStart.

It is getting the value from line 40 rather than the updated value from line 49 (at the start of the do loop)

$sRowStart is using a Local version of the variable, and not the Global version because you use the same variable name in the parameters of the function EnterIfo. Use a different variable name, don't reuse the global variable name as a parameter in the function, and see how that works for you.

Also, I see that you're reusing all of the Global variable names as parameters of the function, which means the function will use the Local variables of the same name, and not the Global variables.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
