You could make gui the size of the picture... but you couldn't open any picture without sometime of application to open it up.

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

u could use splashimageon

Thanx thatsgreat for the heads up using splashimageon.

@jaja - did this work ok for you? I got the default example from the helpfile to open the jpg without a border using the following code.

$destination = @Systemdir & "\oobe\images\mslogo.jpg"

SplashImageOn("Splash Screen",$destination,250,50,-1,-1,1)
Sleep(3000)
SplashOff()
