calvados Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Hi everyone, I have a simple script that checks for the presence of a few windows then if present clicks a button in said windows. The problem I'm facing is that even if the window doesn't exist, focus is being taken from the application that currently has focus when the script tries "If WinExists". Is there a way to prevent focus from being taken each time? Full script below: While 1 _KillPopup() Sleep(5000) WEnd Func _KillPopup() If WinExists("Microsoft Exchange") Then WinActivate("Microsoft Exchange") ControlClick("Microsoft Exchange", "Use &Old Data", 608) EndIf If WinExists("Security Alert") Then WinActivate("Security Alert") ControlClick("Security Alert", "&Yes", 6) EndIf If WinExists("[CLASS:#32770]") Then WinActivate("[CLASS:#32770]") ControlClick("[CLASS:#32770]", "OK", 2) EndIf EndFunc Thanks everyone, Cal.
Danp2 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 I would suggest adding some ConsoleWrite commands so that you can determine when the code within an If...EndIf is being executed. Latest Webdriver UDF Release Webdriver Wiki FAQs
BrewManNH Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 The Class in your last WinExists is a very common window class, it could be any number of windows with that same class that's being activated. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
