Developers Jos Posted May 16, 2020 Developers Posted May 16, 2020 Strange ... so what are the details of your setup: OS version/architecture? When you open the helpfile manually, you can browse through it without any issue? Running this commandline command doesn't work either?: "c:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\AutoIt3Help.exe" Jos SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past.
HurleyShanabarger Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 Browsing through the helpfile manually is working without problems. I am running Windows 10, 1909, x64 with all current updates installed. However this is a Windows installation where the MsMg toolkit has been used, to remove Windows components. Maybe this is causing the issue - I should have thought about that in the first place. Are the any requirements for AutoIt3Help or system files that should be there?
Developers Jos Posted May 16, 2020 Developers Posted May 16, 2020 It is using the WINAPI -> HtmlHelpA to open the helpfile at the correct page. One removed component was the Internet Explorer and apparently that breaks the HtmlHelpA functionality Thanks you for your patience and time!
