VeeDub
Hi, Somehow I have broken my beta install. I have version 3.1.1.101 installed. When I use Alt-F5, the script starts running according to the console, but the AutoIt icon never appears on the system tray. If I look in task manager I have two instances of compileau3.exe running, one which is using CPU time the other which is idle. Getting rid of either instance (leaving just the other one running) doesn't solve the problem. Any ideas on why this might be happening? Thanks, VW
Moderators SmOke_N Posted January 12, 2006 Moderators Share Posted January 12, 2006 No need to mess with the Compileau3.exe files that are running, did you see an AutoIt.exe running? That would be your script being ran without being compiled. Do you have #NoTrayIcon at the top of your script? Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

It's quite disconcerting when you're accustomed to being able to see where your script is up to.Thanks a bunch.VW
