adjist
Hello! i am curious as to how you would detect if a function is active and if possible, if a certain function is active, exit the current function. example code : if example() Then exit function example() MsgBox(1,"Hello!","Hello!") Moderators Melba23 Posted January 22, 2020 Moderators Share Posted January 22, 2020 adjist, Welcome to the AutoIt forums. I would suggest that set a flag (a Global variable) as you enter the "certain function" and then check if it is set when you need - just do not forget to clear the flag when the "certain function" ends. If you can give a more detailed example of exactly what you are trying to do we can offer more specific advice. You might also like to read the Interrupting a running function tutorial in the Wiki as it can get quite complicated to do in some cases. Global $example = 0 At the top of my script, and inside the func I put ? Func example() $example = 1 ;code $example = 0 EndFunc But when I do this, I get this error, Variable used without being declared.
