TPC Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 Let me start by saying I'm new to AutoIT and this forum. I'm happy to be a part of this community and keep learning. I'm running into an issue when I try to use the Finder Tool on a program called MFAD (fadtools.com). The Finder Tool is able to see tool bars and "boxes" but not the individual "buttons" within. I say "buttons" because I'm not sure what they actually are. I've attached an image showing how the Finder Tool behaves when I try to select the individual items. It only selects the region, not the actual "button". A quick background, MFAD is a very iterative foundation design software and I'm trying to automate projects where there are hundreds of foundations to design. In a nutshell the main things I need to be able to do are control the top tool bar and the Projects carrot which will let me pick the foundation I want to run. The second image shows the carrot expanded. I need to be able to control these objects so I can set them as the active case, etc. One last thing, I've tried to brute force it and use MouseClick and position to even see if it would work but for some reason, even if all AutoIT does is tell the mouse to click, MFAD still won't accept a mouse click. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give. I'm happy to share more screenshots of the finder tool. Tommy AutoIT MFAD Image.pdf AutoIT MFAD Image 2.pdf
