MouseClick()s not working as intended in game window - (Locked)

For game automation, I focus the game window using WinActivate -> the window seems focussed as indicated in the hotbar.

;~     Local $x, $y;
;~     while not _WaitForImageSearch($shop, 2, 1, $x, $y, 50)
;~         Sleep(2500)
;~     WEnd
;~     Sleep(2500)
;~     MouseClick("", $x, $y);

Then there is code like this that finds where the location to click is and clicks it, yet it doesn't yield the expected result ingame. (The expected result would be for the shop to open.)

If I manually left click the moment the mouse hovers over the $x, $y position, everything works fine. So what might be the problem here? Is there an alternative MouseClick that bypasses this kind of automation prevention? Or am I just doing something wrong with the focussing?

To note though is that keypresses are registered just fine for the game window, and one would rather expect keypresses to fail first if the window is not focussed properly, rather than mouse clicks not working as intended.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
