Graeme Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 $guiTestWindow = GUICreate("Test Window", $MainWindowSize, 280 + $DepthBanner) GUISetFont($MainFont) $Banner = GUICtrlCreateButton($a[0],10,185 * $MagnificationHeight,$MainWindowSize - 15,$DepthBanner * $Magnification,$BS_MULTILINE, $WS_EX_DLGMODALFRAME) GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1,0xff9900) ;GUICtrlSetStyle(-1,$BS_VCENTER + $BS_MULTILINE) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW,$guiTestWindow) While GUIGetMsg() <> $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Sleep(50) WEnd If I run the above script with the fifth line commented out as it is I get the button with the right bkcolor but the text is at the top of the button. If I include the fifth line I get the text centered but I lose the color. Is it possible to get both?
helmar Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Without creating a bunch of your vars, I cannot recreate your code (quickly). My gut is that you need, on line 5, to do GUICtrlSetStyle(-1,BitOR($BS_VCENTER,$BS_MULTILINE)
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 10, 2021 Moderators Posted February 10, 2021 Graeme, There is a bug deep in AutoIt (which is not going to be fixed) which means that colouring buttons is fraught with danger - for example they usually trap the {ENTER} key and act as a default button even when not intended - and also that they do not play nicely with various other styles. A quick search shows others having the same problem as you - and no solutions. So i would suggest giving up on the colouring - I use underlying labels to indicate colour changes.
