[Closed] Shutdown(8) vs Shutdown(1)

Hi all

When I want to turn my computer off, I always use Shutdown(8) - $SD_POWERDOWN.

Is there any scenario, in modern computers, where you would use (or combine it) with 1 - $SD_SHUTDOWN?
