Sending F1 to a minimized window.

Hello friends, i am trying to send F1 key to a minimized window, but i am having trouble, its not working for me, please guide me if it is possible to do so using Autoit.

I am new to Autoit, still learning. I know about Send() but it will activate the software to which i wish to send the F1 key. I checked ControlSend() aswell but it is also not working, maybe i am not that competent enough to do so, therefore i thought of asking in the forum. I need to send F1 to main window, not any control.

well well, sending keystroke looks like some bad habits on this forum hehe ... i'm wondering why 

provide some 'not working' code
