Tried and failed making a simple key combo for multiple monitors. The windows hot key is WIN+P . It brings up the selection list for Duplicate, Extend , Second screen only as shown in image.  If anyone knows how to code this that would be cool. Better yet if the script included arrow down twice plus enter .

I think I misinterpreted your question. If you are looking for a solution to directly switch screens via API, then I can't help you.
