Help Reading and write exe

I see how people do for example crypters and reads stub.exe in autoit

I trying doing with Fake error, but "Stub.exe" broke code and no work. 

Why if put Stub.au3 and FakeError.au3 work but Stub.exe and FakeError.exe no work?
