Hi Team,

Greetings!

I need one assistance in replacing all special characters in a string within { } brackets.

I have coded below:

#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>
$sText = 'pass@123!@#456'
Local $sOutput = StringRegExpReplace($sText, "[@!#]", "{}")
MsgBox(0, "Title", $sOutput)

Kindly assist for below queries:

Input String = pass@123#45

Expected Output = pass{@}123{#}4{$}5

Thank you!

Iraj,

It is difficult to understand quite what you want as your "Expected Output" does not seem to come from your "Input String" - where does the "$" come from?

Anyway, here are 2 options based on the posted script which might be what you want:

#include <MsgBoxConstants.au3>

$sText = "pass@123!@#456"

$sOutput = StringRegExpReplace($sText, "(\W)", "{$1}")

MsgBox(0, "Single chars", $sOutput)

$sOutput = StringRegExpReplace($sText, "(\W{1,})", "{$1}")

MsgBox(0, "Grouped chars", $sOutput)

I hope that helps.
