LondonNDIB
Is there an implied variable assigned to functions like Perl? Eg. Is there a way I can write $answer = MsgBox ( 4, "Answer Please", "Yes or No?" ) If $answer = 6 then MsgBox (0, "hello", "world" ) EndIf Without bothering with the $answer variable? Eg would be this code which doesn't work: MsgBox ( 4, "Answer Please", "Yes or No?" ) If $_ = 6 then MsgBox (0, "hello", "world" ) EndIf Its not a big deal - I just want to get in clean coding habits. Moderators SmOke_N Posted January 24, 2006 Moderators Share Posted January 24, 2006 Not that I know of... but... you could do: If MsgBox ( 4, "Answer Please", "Yes or No?" ) = 6 then MsgBox (0, "hello", "world" ) EndIf Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
