Bookmarks in Chrome - please help - (Moved)

Hi.
Please help. I wanted to use the script in this link https://www.autoitscript.com/forum/topic/194424-add-bookmarks-to-google-chrome-using-a-gpo/ I installed Autoit and it generates a * exe file for me. However, when launched, it doesn't make any entries to the bookmarks file. I wrote a message to the author of the script, but he hasn't been on the forum for a long time. Could you please see what is possibly wrong that the script is not working as it should? I don't have any scripting experience and thought this one would solve my bookmarking problem.
