Undeclared variable "$__WINVER" in SciTE Jump function

I'm working with the latest AutoIt Beta and what I think is the latest version of Scite4AutoIt3 (v4.4.6). But if I open any of the scripts I'm working on and pull down "Tools -> SciTE Jump", I get an error complaining that the variable "$__WINVER" is being "used without being declared". It seems very unlikely that I'm the first to notice this, so I'd like to know what steps I can take to resolve this problem.  Thanks!

  • 1 year later...

In Scite Jump.au3 I have corrected line 2348 from Return $__WINVER  >= 0x600 to Return @OSBuild >= 6000 but ..

When I Build this script I get:

    Error adding file: Bin/Monitor.a3x .rc:2
    Target exe is not created abandon build:rc:2

But...

Alt_Q now works. This is on Windows 10

Thoughts?

Yes, this other issue is totally unrelated to the topic of this thread... right?

So please open another topic.. but first check your AV as it sounds like aut2exe is being blocked while trying adding a file to the PE header.
