I searched the registry and found a partial solution is as follows:

$var = RegRead("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\Vid_0c88&Pid_fe43\008700008426", "DeviceDesc")

MsgBox(4096, "Program files are in:", $var)

the value returned is the value for the not found hardware connected to a usb port. However, I still can't get the model of the cable connected to the usb port.

I noticed the "; Generated by AutoIt Scriptomatic" and wondered what it was. Still, though, I don't get the cable name from either my pre-solution or yours. But yeah, nice tool.
